Paddling music?

What do you guys listen to on the way, during and after a paddle? Coming back from my first trip, I was really into old, p[ure rock, for some reason. It just seemed to fit. Anyway, here's a link for some pure rock, although gritty, drunk at 3 am in the morning on the wrong side of town pure rock. As if there is any other type. Enjoy the link.

And a local shop (but a horrible website) is having a demo day at Silver Lake in the Apalachicola National Forest. So, I think I can convince the wife to go out there and have a nice day in the sun and take a look at some kayaks and hopefully meet more local kayakers.

I'm going paddling this weekend, even if it kills me!

I haven't been able to get out since the day after I bought my new kayak, but I think I have some free time this weekend and I am dying to get out on the water and have some fun.

What kind of Kayak do I have? I caught the 25% off sale at Oshman's Sporting Goods and received 25% off a Perception Acadia II. I was lucky enough to run across a local Kayaking group and was invited along for their trip the next day. I had a blast, although compared to those guys, I might as well have been paddling a barge. But, I'll get better and will soon be darting around like they were.

This is the first post on my newest Blog. I was going to just incorporate the information here onto my other Blog, but figured that with an address that had Tallahassee and Kayaking in it, perhaps local kayakers might find me a bit easier on the 'net.

What to expect here? Hopefully, lots of posts about trips I take. I'll also host photos I take while on these trips.
